Mbamba Kilenda Copper Deposit

In 2024 Horizon made its first investment into DRC, via Central Copper Resources' West Congolian Project, which includes the Mbamba Kilenda Deposit, in Kongo Centrale Province. The project's current mineral resource estimate stands at 11.8 Mt at 3.13% Cu for 370 kt Cu (1% c/o) with considerable scope to increase it with further drilling.
Horizon also holds a significant ownership position in Central Copper Resources itself, a copper exploration and development company with a highly prospective landholding in central African copper belts. The Company has three main assets: the above-mentioned West Congolian Project in DRC; the Kayeye Project in DRC; and the Lunga Project in Zambia. All three projects have significant high-grade resource potential.
