Mongbwalu Gold Project Commences Construction
Earthworks have commenced and first production is targeted for mid-2027. The project has completed works to repair the 80km road from Mongbwalu to Bunia and has installed an additional camp for 100 workers outside the main camp.
New Horizon Copper Mine Commences Construction
The Kombat Mine in Namibia was renamed to New Horizon Copper Mine and is tracking for first production towards the end of 2026.

Mongbwalu Gold Project - DRC
Expanding its DRC presence, Horizon acquired the Mongbwalu Gold Project in the historic Kilo-Moto Greenstone gold belt. The project adds genuinely world-class gold grade and scale potential to Horizon's portfolio and benefits from extensive existing work undertaken by the previous project sponsors.
Kombat Mine - Namibia
Horizon completed the acquisition of the Kombat Mine in Namibia. The project is an exciting high-grade copper opportunity with significant upside potential, and will restart production in 2026 following an initial $25m expansion. A further c.$50m expansion is planned to double plant throughput capacity.

The Mbamba Kilenda copper project was Horizon’s first investment into the DRC and is an exciting high-grade, high upside scale potential development project.

Milford Copper Project - USA
The Milford Project in Utah marked Horizon’s first U.S. mining venture. By revitalising an existing plant, the new Milford Mining Company Utah continues to produce A grade copper cathodes for the US domestic market. Concentrates are sold to Rio Tinto's Kennecott Project.

Manica has become one of Horizon’s most consistent producers. Built and commissioned amid challenging conditions through the Covid-19 pandemic, the project now delivers steady performance and supports a wide regional network of employees, stakeholders and suppliers.
